Letter From Our Founder

“Supporting Empty Arms was founded to honor families facing loss, trauma, and challenges in growing their families. After experiencing perinatal loss and the hurdles of fostering, I saw a critical lack of support and resources for family-building. This led to a pilot program offering therapy for women post-perinatal loss. Though successful, the program was limited by medical costs and served only women after loss. Our vision is to expand support to include affordable mental health services for anyone struggling with these challenges, regardless of their financial circumstances. Our mission is to create a compassionate environment where families get the mental health care they deserve, reduce stigma around maternal mental health and loss, and ensure no family feels alone. We aim to empower families to navigate their mental health journey with confidence and resilience.” – Cassandra Marsh, Founder
